Today we’re looking at some tips and tricks on the app: Kik Download, Kik Login and Kik Account. First, we would talk about how to log out of the Kik application, this is because some of you guys might want to be able to log out and they may not see a logout feature. So what you’re going to do here is go to your settings menu and when you go to the settings menu, you’re going to click settings and where it says – account, notifications, chat, settings etc. and you’re going well where is the logout button, I need to log out because sometimes you guys want to log out because you don’t want to use Kik anymore or you just not wanting to use it at that particular time.

So once you’re in the settings menu, what you’re going to do is click on your account information and hit reset at the bottom, and once you hit the reset button it’s going to delete every single piece of information on your Kik account.

The Kik messenger application doesn’t just have a logout feature and a lot of people seriously want to log out, but they don’t know where it is and when they see do you want to clear your Kik, it kind of sounds weird and some people are like I don’t want to delete it. I just want to log out so next time you’re going to hit yes and then it’s going to take a few seconds to load and it’s going to bring you back to the settings and say login or re-sign-in, and some people might think that means well I got to re-sign up. Some people might expect that that means that their kid account was actually deleted. That’S not the case. So as always, that is the way to log out of your account.

Now, let’s get started, grab your mobile device and open up the Kik app then tap the gear button in the top left corner to open up the settings menu. On the next screen tap your account at the bottom of the list, tap log out. Now open up your web browser and go to www.kik.com/deactivate, Once here, tap in the box labeled enter your email and type in the email address you used to sign up for your Kik account, then tap go.

Kik Messenger will send you an email to confirm that you want to delete your account, open up your email inbox and look for an email from Kik. Open the email and tap the button that says deactivate, a browser window will open. You can choose to let Kik know why you wanted to delete your account, if you wish to select whichever reason applies to you, then tap go and that’s it. Your Kik account has now been permanently deleted.
